Season 4

After the mega-success of our earlier three editions, the fourth edition comes with a different hue. From being an online edition to a broader-based global one, each hue will add a new dimension to it.

As you know, TGILF is a platform committed to the cause of promoting Regional Literature and Writing. During our earlier seasons, we have explored the lives of Lit Stalwarts like Vrindavan Lal Verma, Kaka Hathrasi, Sumitra Nandan Pant, and many more.

This year, we plan to focus on "Mother Tongue and its importance in Nation Building."

Imagine, a large part of our rural population, away from technology, with their Mother tongue as their only way of communication. Their local stories, folklore, songs, all in their mother tongue, binding them together as a village, society even town. It might sound far-fetched, but systematically Mother Tongue is being eroded. 

With its erosion, we are losing history, fables, culture, and our roots too. 

Let us be the agent of change. Let us promote our Mother Tongue, regional writing and writers.
